Overview
DHA (Defence housing authority) is the most prestigious project in Pakistan. Initially, DHA Scheme was launched in Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore. Later on, it was decided to expand this project in different cities. This decision was to proceed by the establishment of DHA Societies in Gujranwala, Multan, Bahawalpur and Peshawar. DHA Peshawar has made its strong position in the hearts of people because this is the only modern project in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. There are 4 DHA Societies in the province of Punjab but Khyber PakhtunKhwa has only one society named as DHA Peshawar. This is the plus point that KPK has only one DHA project. Before this, People had been buying plots in DHA Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore. People had to sell their plots to live with their family. DHA Peshawar covered the area of 17000 acres. Now this project made people’s life easier.

The DHA Peshawar is going through development phases under the supervision of its Chairman. The development work has been awarded to the FWO and NLC along with the efforts of sub-contractors. All the teams are working day and night to complete this project on the given deadline.
